Question 1 : There are a lot of videos here. What If I don't want to Perform on Stage, what if I just want to Learn Play for My Own Pleasure
Answer : Not all students want to Play on Stage - many just want to be able to play for themselves, or maybe family and friends. Students that do go on to perform, whether informally or on stage, only do when they feel ready.
Of the students that do go onto Play On Stage, about half thought they never would.. but they were Open To The Possibility.. They chose Not to Limit themselves, and not limiting Yourself, along with patient guidance is a great way to begin to fulfil your potential as a Guitar Player.
The videos of Students are here just for one reason.. And that is To give You an idea of what could be possible for You. For Other students there are the opportunities to Play at Workshops - See Question 4 Below....
Question 2 : Are beginners welcome? - these students in these videos all seem past the beginner stage.
Answer 2 : Many of these students started as either complete beginners, or knowing how to Play just a little - so Yes Beginners are welcome.
Question 3 : What about if I want to Learn Acoustic Guitar - all these videos seem to be Electric Guitar.
Answer 3 : Many students start on an Acoustic Guitar; and over time, some switch to Playing Electric, while others stay with the Acoustic. Its about Your personal preference. If Your Musical heroes tend to play Acoustic - You will likely be happier with an Acoustic, if They Play Electric, then Electric may be better for You to start.

Question 4 : What about Playing with other Guitar Players, but not playing on stage infront of an audience.
Answer 4 : Yes from time to time there are workshop opportunities where You can meet, learn and play with like minded Acoustic and Electric Guitar players
Question 5 : I don't read Music, Do I need to read music to become a good Guitar Player?
Answer 5 : Music is like language- if You think back to when You were learning to Speak English, or another "Home" Language for You if English is not Your native language- then You learned to speak first of all by copying and then gradually learning the rules of grammar as and when You needed to know them. Learning to make Music on Guitar effectively, is very similar to learning how to speak Your native language.
What usually happens is that students, like You will start lessons with certain ideas of what You would like to be able to do on the guitar - and when You become able to do what You want to do, often Your goals change.
The only students that do need to be able to read music, are those who are not only ready but also want to start playing more advanced Jazz styles of Guitar - for more intermediate, less advanced styles of Guitar playing, reading Music is not necessary - instead an easier system called Tablature is used.
