Learning Guitar can be One Of the Most rewarding experiences for Younger Students.
Whether YOU Want to learn Electric Guitar or The Acoustic Guitar , and whether You want to just learn for fun, or more seriously and perhaps ? even Play On Stage, Or Form a Band when YOU Are Ready with the right Patient Teaching and Guidance, The Guitar can really help improve Self-Confidence and Self-esteem of Younger Students.
Many Years ago when I started to learn, I made no progress - because I was not interested in twinkle twinkle little star, that left me bored and frustrated with the Guitar and I almost gave up completely..I wanted to play real music that meant something to me..
And so didall the following students You're about to see on Video from our Special Student concerts - starting with Lewis who wanted to Play Solo without a band...
Ofcourse not every student wants to Play On Stage, and yet having the possiblity available is of great benefit - in case Students feel they want to.
Half of these You're about to watch never thought they would.. However they were all open to the possibility.. and whenShe was ready...there was Brogan who wanted to Play Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars...
And then there was Students Callum & Josh who wanted to learn to Play Hey Joe with a full band on Stage...
And here's Lewis, from One Year Earlier playing Tenacious D Classic, from the film with the sqame name " The Pick Of Destiny"....
And then Dillon who wanted to play Dire Straits Sultans of Swing ...
For many family and friends, these are magical moments. memories captured forever...And then there was Ben who played House Of The Rising Sun
And Not forgetting Dan's First Ever Stage debut with All Right Now..
It isn't just about Playing On Stage, some Younger students choose to keep their playing private or just play informally for family and friends..
They all keep an open mind, are open to possibility - Half of the Students that do go onto play Guitar on stage, thought it was something that they probably would never be able to do.. but they stayed open to the possilbility.. And the increase in confidence and esteem is obvious to everyone they know!
And for Students that do Go On to Perform On stage - well that is just something that Family, Friends and all that see them get totalk about for weeks, months and even Years Later... " Remember when ???? Learned guitar and even Played on Stage?"
